BRITTNEY MAYFIELD-DAVIS
Was born in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and raised on the reservation in Parker, Arizona. She graduated Parker high school in 2004 where she served on the Student Council as the Student Body Vice President for two years. During her time in high school she stayed busy and participated in extracurricular activities such as a basketball and volleyball and went on to compete for State Regional Choir. During her time as a junior and senior she was the lead teacher for 2nd-4th grader through PAACE. After high school Brittney worked in criminal justice as a detention officer/booking clerk through the Sheriff’s Department and a Victim advocate for teens dating violence at Colorado River Crisis Shelter. During her tenure she worked alongside colleges and high schools as a spokesperson and liaison for young people in domestic violence relationships. In 2005, Brittney left Parker where she pursued beauty school, in 2006 she graduated and received her Arizona state nail license in which she still carries. During her time in school, she worked as a lead teacher for an after school program and began working at FedEx to support herself. She then went on to pursue a business degree in international business management at University of Phoenix. All while having her first child in 2007, she has been a go getter. Brittney has been employed with FedEx for almost 15 years where she is now store manager in Glendale, Arizona. She is a past recipient of FedEx’s scholarship program as a diverse employee and a minority women in management. Brittney recently was nominated to serve on FedEx’s Diversity, equity and Inclusion committee where she serves as a voice for African-American and Indian culture, women, single parent and entrepreneurship. Brittney has her own business, Roses of Beauty, that she started in 2015. The business is a health and beauty business where she offers services related to makeup, skin care and cosmetic services. And recently is pursing her skin therapy license and personal training elite certifications.
