GORDON SIMS

 

Joined the Sojourner Center leadership team in October of 2018 as their Director of Philanthropy.  He brings 24 years of non-profit program development experience, leadership in building volunteer communities and a successful fund development and major gifts track record.  Before coming to Sojourner Center, Gordon worked at Duet: Partners in Health and Aging, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest and the Franciscan Renewal Center. 

 

Gordon loves the mission of Sojourner Center and sees it being more relevant today in our community than ever.  His focus will be building a robust fund development plan with his team, which will include an increase in major gifts and individual support, broadening foundation and corporate relationships, continuing their well attended and recognized fundraising events, legacy and planned giving and helping to make Sojourner Center a household name in the valley.
