Johnnette Ballinger

A Phoenix, Arizona native. She attended Valley View Elementary, Lassen Middle School, and South Mountain High School. Graduating with an Engineering degree from Arizona State University and working in various positions as an Engineer and Programmer. 

The first official position working with children was with Junior Achievement 2nd graders, representing Lockheed Martin in Colorado Springs.

She assisted as a tutor at a community center in Colorado with Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

Ballinger held a position in the early 2000 as the Secretary for the West Valley Pop Warner association.

As a Teacher or assistant, volunteering for over a decade with a computer camp created by the Arizona Black Engineers and Scientists, now being ran by a local sorority chapter and ComputerEd Tools.

Johnnette spends her free time gardening and planning landscape designs.
